| Principle |
TurbodyneSC™ uses dual optics based on turbidimetry and nephelometry.
A light stream passes through a test cuvette with an antigen-antibody reaction and is recorded by a receiver placed at 180 and 135 °.
In turbidimetric measurements, light intensity is measured by a 180° sensor.
In nephelometric tests, light scattering is measured by a 135° sensor.
The choice of measurement principle is determined by a precalibrated smart card (SmartCard).
