Express hemostasis analyzer Wondfo OCG-102

The optical hemostasis analyzer Wondfo OCG-102 is a portable device powered by rechargeable batteries.

  • Performed tests: PT/INR (prothrombin time/INR), APTT (activated partial thromboplastin time), TT (thrombin time), FIB (fibrinogen), ACT (determination of heparin in the blood)
  • Sample type: citrated venous whole blood (PT, APTT, FIB, TT), capillary whole blood (PT), venous whole blood (ACT)

Principle of operation:

  • The device performs tests of the hemostasis system using disposable cartridges
  • The test is carried out using a test strip and adding a drop blood into the well of the device
  • The analyzer is equipped with a heating element that heats the test strip to the required temperature
  • The test strip contains a rotating element with paddles that draws the sample into the reaction well after it is added to the sample well
  • The stirrer blades rotate across the path of the infrared light beam and mix the liquid sample with the reagent that has been dried in the reaction well
  • During the clotting process, the clot is lifted by the stirrer, interrupting the path of the light beam that is recorded by the device
  • An internal timer measures the time elapsed between the start of the test and the formation of a clot
  • During the test, the clotting time (in sec.) is displayed.

The analyzer is designed for in vitro monitoring.
