The device performs tests of the hemostasis system using disposable cartridges
The test is carried out using a test strip and adding a drop blood into the well of the device
The analyzer is equipped with a heating element that heats the test strip to the required temperature
The test strip contains a rotating element with paddles that draws the sample into the reaction well after it is added to the sample well
The stirrer blades rotate across the path of the infrared light beam and mix the liquid sample with the reagent that has been dried in the reaction well
During the clotting process, the clot is lifted by the stirrer, interrupting the path of the light beam that is recorded by the device
An internal timer measures the time elapsed between the start of the test and the formation of a clot
During the test, the clotting time (in sec.) is displayed.
The analyzer is designed for in vitro monitoring.
